The book was wonderful!!! Thank you for giving us parents and teachers a tool to help others understand why our little ones can’t eat certain foods. It is also wonderful for children who are going to undergo allergy tests so they won’t feel scared!Bertha Flores

I liked the book because it was a lot of fun. Blue had a tummy ache because he ate bananas.Sofia

It’s so wonderful to see such a beautiful and heart warming story in which children with allergies can relate to a monkey who is allergic to bananas. Sometimes we close ourselves in a box thinking there is no solution but this story helps children see it’s just a matter of some adjusting and you can have just as much fun! Working with children for the past 4 years and encountering so many with severe food allergies gives me a perspective and understanding of what parents and children go through. This book is not only for those families with food allergies. It is a wonderful story to share with all children so they can also understand their peers.Veronica Fabre

Over the past few decades, food allergies have become increasingly more common. A newly diagnosed food allergy can be a frightening medical condition for both parent and patient. This is a wonderfully inspiring and uplifting book that describes allergy symptoms and explains how doctors diagnose and treat food allergies in fun and easy to understand terms for any young child. As a practicing allergist, I will be recommending this beautifully illustrated book for my young patients with food allergies.

This is an outstanding book on a much needed content in our community. As a classroom teacher, I have to deal with students with various types of allergies ranging from minor to life threatening. This wonderful story offers students with allergies a child friendly observation and acceptance of their condition; and their peers an understanding of the challenges of students with allergies. This book is a must have for all classroom teachers. Thank you Katia Hechema!Marlem Diaz-Brown
